Dr. Fisseha Abenet Tadesse is a dedicated livestock and pastoral development professional with over two decades of experience in advancing dryland agriculture, food security, and resilience across the Horn of Africa. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Holistic Consult and Agribusiness, he guides the company’s vision of promoting sustainable livestock systems, climate-smart solutions, and inclusive agribusiness growth that benefits both communities and ecosystems. Throughout his career, Dr. Fisseha has served in senior technical and leadership roles with a range of national, regional and international organizations, contributing to national and regional efforts that strengthen pastoral resilience, livelihoods and food systems. He holds advanced degrees in Development Studies and Food Security, Tropical Animal Production and Health, and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Addis Ababa University. Dr. Fisseha is deeply committed to collaborative approaches that build resilience, empower rural communities, and drive sustainable transformation across the agri-food and allied sectors.
